I'm all grown up and still making my Mom homemade cards for Mother's Day!
Here's a little inside look at me with my siblings, as well as my drawing process. Click on the drawings for a closer look.
After I sketch out a rough pencil drawing, I trace it using Microns on Bristol. Ink drawing shown above.
Then I scan the ink drawing into Photoshop where I make adjustments, fix mistakes, and add color. There you have it! My finished Mother's Day card shown above.
In this cartoon family portrait, I tried to capture a bit of our childhood personalities with some of the characteristics that we carried into our adulthood. Mom loved it! But of course, Mom always loves everything I make her!
